Do you ever think of someone you haven’t seen in a long time and then meet them less than a week later? Were you having a bad time and suddenly you saw a text describing your feelings? And maybe even help you? Many people will realize this and almost as many people will say that this is a coincidence. If you believe in synchronicity, you believe that these two events have to do with each other. Some events have far too special a meaning or happen at exactly the right time, which makes chance seem almost impossible.
What is synchronicity?
Synchronicity has been described by filmmaker Baptist de Pape as anonymous gifts from the universe. They come unexpectedly and can change your life. A piece of advice that just gets in your way or meets your new love at a party you didn’t really want to go to. If these kinds of unexpected moments come to you more often, there is synchronicity.
The crazy thing about synchronicity is that the more you start paying attention to it, the more it seems to happen. Do you look at the clock every day at 11:11 or 22:22? Then at some point it can no longer be a coincidence. Much is written about such moments. Most people believe that this is actually a coincidence. Others say that these signals are sent to us by angels or come from the quantum field.
How do you ensure more synchronicity?
Much has been written about synchronicity. First by Carl Jung, the psychologist who studied this, but also by great thinkers like Deepak Chopra. So there are a lot of tips to allow for more synchronicity in your life. We have listed a few for you
- Allow synchronicity in your life. It may sound crazy, but when you open up, you’ll also see the signs;
- Listen to your intuition. This is often the best compass you can have;
- Write down goals for yourself, you will see that these goals come much closer if you open up and listen to your intuition;
- Do what makes you happy. Once you do this, you will see more and more “coincidences” coming your way.
